What are the steps involved in the Claim Your Space Process?
Once your title becomes available for purchase, and you have purchased Claim Your Space our publishing team will submit your digital files to Amazon's™ CreateSpace as well as the Kindle™ bookstore online. Once established in their systems, your book will be available for order by Amazon customers and Kindle users.
The submission process is completed within three to five business days. After our team has completed the submission process, refer to our e-mail that details how to activate your title on Amazon. The e-mail will include your user name and password, and a links where you must log in and enter additional information and order a printed and bound copy of your book to activate the title through Amazon.
Once activated, it can take up to another three business days to appear within the Amazon system. The Claim Your Space service carries no additional charges, and does not expire on Amazon's current policies.

What is the Claim Your Space service?
The Claim Your Space service is an innovative online program that allows authors to make their books available to both Amazon.com™ customers and Kindle™ readers. Are there any restrictions on the Claim Your Space service?
Only live titles are eligible for this service. You can sign up for this service after your book is available for purchase. Additionally, we can only provide the Kindle portion of this service for 8.25" x 11" books, since CreateSpace does not offer printing in 8.25" x 11" book sizes.
What is an e-book?
Short for electronic book, an e-book is essentially a book read within a digital format. Most e-books are read on personal computers, but with the development of new digital display technology like Kindle, e-books can now be downloaded and read without conventional printing.

What is a Kindle device?
The Kindle device is Amazon's new electronic book reader that utilizes new high-resolution technology called electronic paper that displays textual news and readable black-and-white content on a digital screen. In addition to its size, allowing for traveling ease, modern Kindle owners are able to download titles directly from Amazon's Kindle bookstore through a wireless connection.

What if I already have an Amazon account?
Should you already have an Amazon account, our team will work with you to determine how you would like us to proceed. Your options include:
1. Provide your password, so we may access your account and set up Claim Your Space.
2. Supply an alternate e-mail address, which we can use to set up a new Amazon account.
3. Request the files needed for Claim Your Space which we can send via e-mail, along with the link to the Claim Your Space registration site, and you can set up the Claim Your Space program yourself.
